主要研究方向为脑小血管病,系统开展脑小血管病的临床、影像和治疗研究,重点关注脑小血管病的影像学特征及脑小血管病认知和步态障碍的发生机制,受邀参编脑小血管病诊断国际指南(STRIVE-2)。建立北京顺义地区社区队列和协和遗体捐赠志愿者生前队列,关注衰老相关神经功能改变的影响因素和相关机制。合计发表SCI研究论文80余篇,相关研究成果已申请发明专利6项,主持四大慢病重大项目、国家自然科学基金等国家级省部级科研项目7项。
